We throughly enjoyed it here. We arrived as a table for 4 around 5 on a Sunday in July and were seated right away. Izzy was our server and she was awesome. The food was delicious, as was my cocktail, a Rock on Rosie. We had loaded crab fries, chicken tenders and fries, hush puppies, potato salad, steamed shrimp and a seafood platter.
My wife and I visit Rehoboth Beach yearly, usually around the Labor Day holiday. We had often passed by Crab House, but never visited. On this trip, we just couldn't resist the All-you-can-eat buffet advertised from 4pm-8pm. This was a great decision. The food was awesome. We sampled every item that was available. I particularly enjoyed the Jalapeno Lobster bisque. A cousin of mine and his wife were also visiting Rehoboth Beach that weekend and joined us. We all enjoyed the great food, and atmosphere of the restaurant. We will make Crab House a regular stop on our next visits. Keep up the great work.
We got carry out crabs from here, but they were just steamed, not seasoned. We called to complain but were told we could come back to pick up a bottle of JO (which meant another 40+ minutes on Coastal Highway, no thanks). Crabs were actually steamed perfectly and easy to pick... just bafflingly nude.
Definitely come early for the all you can eat. It takes 30 mins to eat your first "tray" if you're a slow eater. Food was good, lots of options. I like that you have a table side trash can to discard shells.
Friendly service, tropical salad and pineapple muffins nearly ruined my dinner , so good. The sea food was excellent and fresh. Had a hard time choosing a beer from the large assortment of craft beers which were also excellent.
Would only go back if family wanted crab. Everything we ordered was very bland.
Forgot the soup that we ordered. Our family member got crabs and loved it.
This before and after pic says it all. OMG! Absolutely everything was top of the line. We also had calamari and scallops. Their sides were also great... corn on the cob and fries are a must. Yay for the popcorn too!
I was very happy with my experience at the Crab House. I was seated immediately although it should be noted it was before traditional dinner hour. Seating is tables and chairs with brown paper over the tabletops. Family friendly. Service was fast and competent. I ordered the Chesapeake combo, Salmon and Shrimp. Both were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the sides I chose were coleslaw and macaroni salad. I must say I usually do not Rave about side dishes but the coleslaw was amazing and the macaroni salad was just probably one of the best I've ever tasted. I reccomend the Crab House for lunch or dinner!
